Economy & Balance Update βš–οΈ

An update rebalancing crop star levels, watering and fertilizing mechanics, progression leveling, and inventory display optimizations.

βš–οΈ Crop & Star System Rebalancing

  • Dynamic Value & XP Scaling: Leveled (starred) crops now scale exponentially! For each star level above 1, crops receive a +20% compound increase to their sell value and a +15% compound increase to their harvest XP reward.
  • Updated Star Emojis: The emojis indicating crop levels have been updated (Level 1: none, Levels 2-4: ⭐, Levels 5-7: 🌟, Levels 8-10+: 🏡️).
  • Sell Flow Fixes: Fixed the /sellall command and manual select menu flows to correctly calculate and apply star-level values to sales.

πŸ’§ Watering & Fertilizing Enhancements

  • Watering Balance: The maximum grow-time reduction for a crop has been capped at 60%. The combined growth speed boost from self-watering and friend-watering is now capped at 60%.
  • Watering Can Adjustments: The watering growth boost has been adjusted to a base 4% speed increase + 2% per level (capped at 50% max speed). Upgrade costs have also been customized, and the watering can level is now capped at level 24.
  • Harvest XP Bonus: Watering crops now grants a level-based XP bonus when harvested (1% base + 1% per level, up to 25% at Level 24).
  • Basic Fertilizer Balance: The basic fertilizer XP bonus has been adjusted from +50% XP to +10% XP to maintain economy balance.

  • Scalable Leveling System: The progression system has been updated to use a unified polynomial progression formula, offering a more stable and balanced leveling curve for higher levels.
  • Crop XP Rebalancing: Adjusted the base XP rewards for Onion (reduced to 280 XP) and Beetroot (reduced to 1400 XP) for better early/mid-game balance.

πŸŽ’ UI & Safety Optimizations

  • Inventory Compact Mode: An automatic Compact Mode has been added to /inventory. If a player owns more than 25 unique seed/crop levels, they are grouped onto single lines by type to prevent interface clutter.
  • Discord Limit Protection: Added protection to ensure large inventories do not exceed Discord’s 1024-character embed limits and crash the interface.
  • Refresh Cooldown: Added a 5-second cooldown to the Refresh button on the /farm menu to prevent spam.
